10-07-2008:

Stated Meeting. The Grand Lodge of Hawaii, headed by The Most Worshipful Dennis Ing, paid a visit to Honolulu Lodge during the October Stated Meeting. The Grand Lodge officer line and the brethren were treated to a superb regular 3rd Degree proficiency by Darry Lajola with Bro. Garry Graham as his examiner. The brethren also honored Bro. Greg Pentecost and The Most Worshipful Dennis Ing as the current recipients of Honolulu Lodge's Cornerstone Award. Pictures below.



09-30-2008:

Fellowship Night. The brethren of Honolulu Lodge were treated to good food and good fun last Tuesday night. Aside from the food, there was Bingo and karaoke with prizes, both provided by WBro. Frank Condello. Those who were missing Las Vegas were treated to a game of Poker brought by Bro. Dexter Carrasco. Pictures below.


 

09-27-2008:

Bro. Ken Smith was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason last Saturday, September 27th, 2008. Bro. Smith was first examined in the Second Degree by Bro. Joe Dahl of Alaska which was then followed by the Third Degree Conferral headed by the RW Monty Glover, JGW.

 

09-24-2008:

Mr. Todd Sefcik and Mr. Michael Wright were initiatied last night into the Entered Apprentice degree. Bro. Darryl Lajola, just raised two weeks ago, gave an impressive charge which capped off a great night with Bro. Jimmy Coleman sitting in the East for the entire degree. The brethren were also treated to Bro. Lopaka Kapanui's first attempt at delivering the lecture at Honolulu Lodge.

The brethren also recognized two visiting brethren: Bro. Lance Westgaard of Washington and WBro. Markus Philp of Australia.

09-17-2008:

Bro. Chino Cabalteja was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason last night. The brethren were treated to a fine conferral by Bro. Jimmy Coleman who sat in the East for the first time with Bro. Garry Graham delivering his first recital of the lecture.

WBro. Rick Huston, inspector for the lodge was in attendance to observe the performance of the officers, particularly those of Bros. Garry Graham and Jimmy Coleman, both of whom he declared as qualified.

09-10-2008:

Bro. Darryl Lajola became the newest Master Mason in Honolulu Lodge last night with family members and friends from the Philippines attending his Third Degree conferral. Attending from the Philippines were WBros. Romy Cua and Rey Escano(uncle) and Bro. Freddie Buenaventura (godfather) from Maharlika Lodge #180. Also in attendance were WBro. Lee McMillan Sr. and Bro. Lee McMillan Jr. of St. Louis Missouri.

The brethren were treated to a very excellent rendition of the Third Degree, especially during the second section. WBro. Dale Palileo sat in the Oriental Chair with WBro. Frank Condello giving another fine lecture as usual.

09-02-2008:

Stated Meeting for the month of September. Visiting brothers included the RW Charles Wegener, Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Hawaii and Bro. Mark Shapiro, Junior Warden of Federal Lodge #1, District of Columbia.

Bros. Darryl Lajola and Matthew Okazaki delivered excellent second degree proficiencies with Bro. Greg Pentecost as their examiner.

Bro. Ken Green announced that he will be moving to Japan and thanked the brothers of the lodge.

 

08-27-2008:

Bro. Anthony Ing was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason last night with Bro. George McClory performing Third Degree Senior Deacon duties for the first time. WBro. Dale Palileo sat in the Oriental Chair with WBro. Frank Condello II giving the lecture.

Bros. Abner Flores and Matthew Okazaki were passed to the degree of Fellowcraft with Bro. Dexter Carrasco sitting in the Oriental Chair for the first time and Bro. Jimmy Coleman delivering another superb rendition of the Middle Chamber lecture.
