Brethren, Family and Friends ,
As I ponder the task ahead of me as Master, many thoughts cross my mind. The one that comes up most frequently is: What can I do as your Master to make this Lodge flourish for future generations? and the first thing that come to my mind is how will I make it financially safe for us to be able to perpetuate the name of our Mother Lodge into that future . Our time is changing at a rapid pace for the better or for the worse and I think that it is vital that we adapt to these changes or suffer the consequences of disappearing .
My first point is that We need to re-enforce our foundations , as masons we should be aware that the pillars of our temple is supported by everyone of us but, that the bricks cannot be aligned according to the tools of Architecture if they don’t have the same shape. And as Speculative Masons, I think that harmony is the ultimate ingredient .
We need to establish programs on masonic education for our young members .
We need to reaffirm our values in the community .
We need to improve our communication methods going between all our members.
We need to keep our socialization programs going to reinforce our lodge unity .
Please check our different committees and see if you can help by becoming a builder in our craft .
I look forward to serving our lodge as Master for this year, and with all of your support, we will have a successful journey.
